ground

You’ll never believe this one, I’ve been wanting to blog for a while and I get to the computer and my mind just goes blank. So Rick had an idea he opened up a book (The Norton Companion to World Literature volume I) and pointed to a random word. GROUND and suggested I blog about that. Well I piddled around some more and then I opened up the dictionary to a random page and the first word on the page was GROUND. Guess I’m blogging about GROUND.

Ground: 1. the solid surface of the earth
2. soil; earth

The dictionary also covers grounds.

What about the word grounded? A person can be described as down-to-earth or grounded. To me that person would be very pragmatic, in my opinion it’s quite a compliment.

Who’s grounded in your life?

take care
