My favorite season - fall
Ahh October, and the wonderful season of fall. What a month so far. The fourth was my birthday and my handsome husband decided to surprise me with a party. The plan was we were going out to dinner to a French place up in Del Mar, Pamplemousse Grille. We drive all the way up there in traffic and he “forgets” his wallet and we have to drive all the way back home retrieve the wallet and drive back up to the restaurant. He felt terrible. I was going to suggest we just go to a restaurant closer to home and try Pamplemousee on another day, but he was looking forward to taking me there for my birthday, we talked about it all week, and I didn’t want to break his heart. He felt so bad already and said he was ruining by birthday. He had been complaining about his knee bothering him and so I of course volunteered to go up and fetch his wallet while he waited in the car, of course SURPRISE was waiting for me. It was a great deal of fun.
I also received mystery flowers on my birthday. There was a very lovely card, but no name. I do not know who to thank for the beautiful arrangement and chocolate. It drove me crazy trying to figure out who they were from. I even called the florist and they couldn’t even tell me what state they originated from. Thank you to the very thoughtful person.
In baby news we still do not know if our little one is a he or she and we’ll find out with the rest of the world in January. We did get to see the little tyke bouncing around in there; quite a little mover. As for me I’ve only felt little things, but then again being the first go around I really don’t know what to expect. I did feel a little something during the football game when LT made a touchdown leaping over the defensive line. I know the little one’s a Chargers fan.
take care,
